UNI/CARE Systems, Inc., M.T.M Services, LLC and the National Council Join Forces to Improve the Quality of Behavioral Healthcare Services

June 14, 2006, Sarasota, Florida – UNI/CARE Systems, Inc., a leading software provider for the behavioral healthcare industry, and M.T.M. Services, LLC, a full-service behavioral healthcare consulting firm, affiliated with the National Council for Community Behavioral Healthcare, today announce a partnership to integrate the Service Process Quality Management (SPQM) System into UNI/CARE’s Pro-Filer™ software system. This pairing of services will provide comprehensive, seamless data measurement to improve service delivery.

The integrated Pro-Filer™ and SPQM products will offer quality reporting that uses easy to understand graphical and tabular reports about clinical, operational and financial processes to quantify and prioritize management challenges for behavioral healthcare providers. Pro-Filer™ and SPQM will also help providers more readily offer consumer focused, recovery based service by providing new insights about how clinical practices are delivered in today’s competitive and declining funding environment.

SPQM is a comprehensive quality management system, which helps behavioral healthcare providers measure performance outcomes, analyze organizational practices, and make data-based decisions to increase the quality and accountability of services. SPQM will analyze the data collected by Pro-Filer™ to assist UNI/CARE customers in performing hands-on data analysis. This will ensure corporate compliance and encourage better communication among staff to improve the quality of care and control the costs of service delivery.

Every UNI/CARE customer will have the option to receive two hours of Internet based consultation each month from M.T.M Services’ consultants. These consultations will help customers understand how to use the more than 35 SPQM data reports to objectively use data to make important management decisions.

“The powerful combination of Pro-Filer™ and SPQM will provide the UNI/CARE customers with the ability to objectively analyze their organizational practices against national “best practice” standards, in addition to providing enhanced clinical services to consumers and their families,” commented May Ahdab, Ph. D., President and CEO of UNI/CARE Systems, Inc.

“UNI/CARE Systems is providing important leadership by integrating the SPQM reporting and consultation service as part of Pro-Filer™,” added David Lloyd, President and Founder of M.T.M. Services, LLC and senior consultant for the National Council. “We are very excited to offer UNI/CARE customers the SPQM solutions our clients have used to transform their services.”

“SPQM reporting and consultation services simplifies access to information for busy clinicians, managers, or CEOs that is context relevant,” noted Randy Love, SPQM CIO. “The collaboration between UNI/CARE and SPQM will offer UNI/CARE customers a significant value-added consultation supported reporting capability.”
